Let me add someone's comment on the movie Phenomenon 1996: "This is a bit of a forgotten film but I remember watching this in the cinema when I was 11 years old and coming home soo inspired to spend my time on this earth doing productive and positive things: learning, reading, achieving, being useful. Something I would say I have somewhat managed to do with my life. I'm not sure that was the takeaway intended from this movie but that's what 11 year old me got from it.
