Trial in US state of New Mexico finds Meta guilty and levies $375 M US in fines

"Meta executives knew their products harmed children, disregarded warnings from their own employees, and lied to the public about what they knew."

Of course Meta will appeal and if the appeal is lost, they will just write off the huge fine as legal expenses and pay less tax. Corporations exist solely to make money. Corporations cannot be jailed. If the corporation loses all its money, shareholders will just move on to the next investment. Until the CEOs of corporations are jailed, nothing will change.
